But you can try this: Create a rectangle shape of the desired size and convert it to an artboard afterwards using Layer > Convert Object to Artboard. That should work …  :)

The problem of the collapse of the Affinity photos when exporting to PSD, in version 1.3.5 and in 1.3.5.3. When you save the program immediately closed and a very large memory resource consumption, system monitoring shows a red swap. Hi Tatyana,

 

It isn't possible to create a brush out of a line that you have made with the pen tool. The brush is what is applied to the line created not the line itself. It is possible to export any lines you create as a 32 bit Png and then create a Textured Image Brush from this PNG however the result it gives will not be close to what you want to achieve. If you would like to see a feature like this added in the future I would recommend making a post in our Feature Requests section.

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Affinity doesn't support transparency when exporting to EPS. EPS doesn't support transparency.

The FX effects (the shadow in your example) will be rasterised or will not be exported if you have Rasterise unsupported effects unchecked in the Export dialog.

Currently there's no way around this other than exporting in other format.

SVG does support some transparency, and again it's hard to tell what the problem is without the file.

The fact is that when you open a file in Adobe Illustrator ENS, it turns out an awful export EFFECTS shadows blur rasterized and squares, if the settings do not put export rasterized effects, when opening a file no effects. And when exporting to SVG generally stagnant fill color instead of red turns crimson and is a distortion of the gradient.
