  1. We have the same problem with printing companies in Germany. PDF/X1a:2003 is rejected, they want PDF/X1a:2001. It looks like I have to knock on the door of Adobe again.
  2. I am using the publisher and after the final release I produced my first photobook. After having it sent to the printer

    I was faced with some problems. First of all, the printer wanted another PDF-Format that is not existing in publisher. It's PDF/X1a:2001 PDF 1.3. The other problem is: the file is too big.1,6 GB. I used a lot of JPGs. Is it necessary to lower the compression rate in the export-dialogue? I had it set to 85%. Does anybody have a clue?
