Hi @Old Bruce, Thanks for the tip. That's certainly an easier way, especially given that the other way keeps crashing. I just hadn't used the gradient tool in Affinity before and was trying to figure it out. Thanks to the others for the responses too. (How do I delete the empty quotation box above?) Cheers, Mika

Hi, Draw a rectangle. Fill the rectangle using the Gradient tool. Drag and drop a colour swatch to one of the endpoints of the gradient. Designer crashes. I'm unsure if this functionality is even supposed to exist, but at least it shouldn't crash. Best regards, Mika
