English ------- I have the following behavior, which I can not explain (V1 + V2). Behavior 1 (not correct in my opinion): I paste an image via the Windows clipboard into Affinity Designer or Photo. I use e.g. the selection brush [W] and select an area. Copy this (CTRL+C) and use the function "New from clipboard" via File. Now it does not paste the selection, but the whole image again. Behavior 2 (correct in my opinion): I first save the image from the Windows clipboard as jpg or png. I open this saved image with Affinity Designer or Photo. I use e.g. the selection brush [W] and mark an area. Copy it (CTRL+C) and use the function "New from clipboard" via File. Now only the selection is pasted into the new image. Is there a reasonable explanation for this behavior? If so, can this be changed somewhere so that behavior 2 is always used? Or is this a bug? Danke/Regards Heiko
  2. Hello @anweid I look for similar problems in the forum and find this solution from @Komatös in the post "Affinity Photo 1.9.2 frequently crashing on Windows 10": Try with deactivated hardware acceleration (OpenCL-acceleration) in APhoto. Preferences --> Performance. At the moment, it looks like this has fixed the problem. Good luck...
  3. Hello JayF, I had similar problems which are discussed in the post "Magic wand crashes regularly", but so far there has been no solution. The suggestion of Komatös has at least helped me. I was just able to apply several filters to my image and switch the selection back and forth without causing a crash. I hope this helps you in the same way.
  4. It will probably be something with the hardware / software driver combination. If Affinity Photo would at least create a crash report, I think that would be more helpful. But there seems to be another bug. If the "crashpad_handler" is active, but no report is filed, although the message "Program not responding" is displayed.
  5. Hello, can we please focus on the real problem again? There are several problems here: 1) When using the Gaussian Blur filter, it can happen that the selection turns white. 2) When using the Gaussian Blur filter, Affinity Photo may crash. 3) Despite the crash and the crash handler, no reports are saved in the corresponding folder. 4) When using other filters, Affinity Photo may crash. This is very frustrating. My system is up to date, all updates are installed. In the zip file is my photo file with the selection. 20210509_104152.zip
  6. Hello, in the zip file is a video with 2 crashs. I use Version: 1.9.2.1035 Affinity Photo Crash.zip
  7. Hello, here are my system informations. If you need a video of the crash, I can provide this. Best Regards, Heiko
  8. Hello, I have a similar problem. The selection still works for me. But if I then apply the blur filter, for example, the programme crashes in over 50% of the cases. The CrashReports folder is empty. But I saw in Taskmanager, that Affinity create a bugreport. Best Regards, Heiko M.
