Onto my 3rd Mac now with Affinity Photo and on all three of them, Affinity Photo takes (comparatively) forever to lead. Today was almost 15 seconds. Everything else on my M1 Mac, my iMac Pro before this, and my 27" iMac before that, launched almost instantly. But Affinity Photo is just ridiculous.
