I love the select same feature, and use it all the time. However, when I am working on a project with several artboards, it is incredibly frustrating that I can't use this tool on a single artboard only. I would be so appreciative if that feature could be implemented. Thanks!

I am having this same issue, but I do have the most recent update (as of January 30). Is there something I can try to get them back? I quit and reopened AD2, but they still aren't there.

@Ema Did you ever figure this out? I'm really wanting to use the fill tool to fill a large rectangle with my half-drop pattern, and I can't figure it out.

Thank you for the welcome, @Joachim_L! I was wondering if that's what was causing it. I can't seem to find where it isn't closed, but I will go take a closer look.

I outlined this shape with the pen tool, and I'd like to fill the entire shape with a gradient. Every time I try to fill it with either a gradient, or solid color, this white box appears. Any tips? How can I make this full jagged shape a color? And what is this white box? I don't see it on my layers.
