I appreciate what you say. Thank you. I understand master pages and templates approximate what I'd like to see in Publisher. My longing for an "auto text frame" when starting a new document remains. I keep going back to InDesign. I'm trying to use, trying to like, Publisher. Auto text frame is but one feature I'm missing. Stability is another. After spending many hours on a long document in Publisher the cursor stopped showing, key strokes wouldn't call up menus, Publisher became unworkable. I was able to copy text—not sure why that worked—and I dumped it into InDesign where it all worked just fine. I WANT to like Publisher. I want to get a divorce from Adobe. So far Publisher isn't quite ready for prime time.

Auto text frame like indesign, please. I HATE having to draw a frame and then repeat ad nauseum.
