Thank you. The file managed to open after being left to load for more than 20 minutes... after deleting some recent image files, it now loads much faster. I'm still not sure why that's the case as the file already has more than 80 images... why those handful of images caused a sudden problem with loading. But with a back up copy now, I can proceed to edit with a peace of mind.

Hi, I couldn't find the equivalent question or faq topic so I will post a new thread here. I've been working on a 180 page coffee table book (with 100+ linked images) for the past 2 months. The file size now is about 10MB. I'm working on my Macbook. Suddenly after saving and closing the file, I'm not unable to open the afpub file again. There's no error message, the app just hangs there saying "loading 1 document". When I try to shut down the app, it tells me to wait for the document to load first before closing the app. I did however notice that over the past few days, it was getting a tad longer to open the file, usually about 15 seconds or so. But that didn't really bother me. I'm at a loss to what to do. I've attached the file here for reference. Thank you. Tony Project_Siang.afpub
