Thanks for all the replies, I do understand that V1 and V2 are different. A final question, can I save / export a V2 file as a V1 file that cna then be opened in V1? I know that some items / setup / functions will not translate, but a simple Designer file with realtively basic shapes and text, would that work? Or would exporting as an EPS file be a better option?

Hello, If (When) I purchase the V2 software does it install over the top of my V1 Affinifty Apps? I collaborate with a school that use Affinity V1 and I cannot see them updating the software very quickly, if at all, in the near future. I would still need to work on V1 files in collaboration with them and would still need access to my V1 apps. Do the V2 Apps during install delete / remove the V1 apps? Thanks Lee

Hello, My latest version of Publisher keeps crashing sending my fans into overdrive after a few minutes of use! Its a simple 2 page A5 document with text and images. The console states this: Wakeups: 45001 wakeups over the last 5 seconds (8531 wakeups per second average), exceeding limit of 150 wakeups per second over 300 seconds I'm running the latest Big Sur and latest Publisher relelase. Please help!

Me too, Mac OS 10.15.7, following update to 1.9 all Affinity apps eyedropper tool is tiny!

Thanks for that, odd that a single style causes the issue, and those styles are the default ones!

Loukash, Attached is a slimmed down file, is this what you need? Try group selecting the table cells, then under the Style Drop Down change to TableDataBold, hopefully it crashes like mine! TableTest.afpub

Thanks for the reply, my version is the current 1.8.6 release, running on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. Sorry I cannot upload the document as it contains client sensitive information, not as yet for general release!

I have a table with text content, I select a group of cells, click on the styles dropdown, and then it crashes, I get spinning color wheel and have to force quit app and restart.
