Seit Version 2.3. ist Affinity Hilfe auf Android Smartphone nicht mehr richtig nutzbar, sobald man "Suche" nutzen will. Nach Eingeben eines Suchwortes lassen sich die Fundstellen (Smartphone im Hochformat) nicht mehr im gleichen Fenster öffnen.
Smartphone im Querformat: Fundstelle wird geöffnet, ist aber vom Menü teilweise überlagert.
Im Tab "Inhalt" funktioniert alles wie erwartet.
Since version 2.3, Affinity Help can no longer be used properly on Android smartphones as soon as you want to use "Search". After entering a search term, the search results (smartphone in portrait format) can no longer be opened in the same window.

MEINE bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Publisher 2 (Windows 10):
Die von mir genutzten Funktionen arbeiten wie erwartet – bis auf „Bücher“!
Im Vergleich zur Version 2.0 konnte ich zwar mit der Version 2.0.3 erfolgreich Bücher erstellen, die aber nach wie vor unerwartet abstürzen. Manchmal läßt sich der Verursacher das Absturzes ermitteln (in einem Fall waren es auf einer ersten Seite vorhandenen eps-Dateien. Dass diese Dateien in der Mitte des Dokumentes auch vorkommen und nicht zum Absturz führen ist mir unerklärlich.)
Manchmal ist der Absturz völlig unerwartet und nicht immer reproduzierbar.
Weiterhin passieren Abstürze, wenn innerhalb der geöffneten Kapitel eines Buches Bilder und/oder Texte kopiert werden sollen. Nach Ctrl C stürzt Publisher ab – aber eben auch nicht immer???
Im Moment würde ich also abraten, die schöne Möglichkeit der Bücher für ein ernsthaftes Vorhaben anzuwenden.

Sometimes the crash is completely unexpected and not always reproducible.
Furthermore, crashes happen when pictures and/or texts are to be copied within the open chapters of a book. After Ctrl C, Publisher crashes - but not always???
So at the moment I would advise against using the nice option of books for a serious project.

Konnte endlich mein erstes (Test-) Buch erstellen.Eine Ursache der bisherigen Mißerfolge war, dass die als Kapital eingefügten *.afpub mit der Vers. 1 erzeugt wurden. Nachdem ich diese in Vers. 2 geöffnet und wieder gespeichert hatte, konnte auch das gemeinsame Inhaltsverzeichnis für alle Kapitel aktualisiert werden.(Dazu wäre es sinnvoll, den Aufruf "Alle Inhaltsverzeichnisse aktualisieren" auch im Bücher-Panel verfügbar zu machen) Es gab aber leider immer wieder kurze Phasen, in den Publisher 2 einfror und dann abstürzte - meist beim Beginn des Exportes.Die Vorschau während des Exportes wurde nicht gezeigt (Fehlermeldung "Vorschau kann nicht erstellt werden").Weiterhin die Fehlermeldung "Fehler beim Öffnen der PDF-Datei".New findingsI was finally able to create my first (test) book.One cause of the previous failures was that the *.afpub inserted as capital were created with vers. 1. Ich wollte die Möglichkeiten, ein Buch zu gestalten testen und habe dafür von einer kleinen selbst erstellten Zeitung (4 Ausgaben pro Jahr) zwei Hefte mit je 20 Seiten genommen, um ein „Jahrbuch“ zu erstellen.
Während der Arbeit daran stürzte Publisher mehrfach ab. Ich kann nicht sagen dass es immer beim gleichen –Vorgang war.
Noch trifft mich der Fehler (?) nicht so sehr, da es nur eine Übung war.I wanted to test the possibilities of creating a book and took two issues of a small newspaper I had created myself (4 issues per year), each with 20 pages, to create a "yearbook".

Keine Verbesserung bisher (Vers. 1.10.5).
Bei Bedarf nutze ich weiterhin FixFoto.No improvement so far (Vers. 1.10.5).
I continue to use FixFoto when necessary. -
I really miss the possibility of using metadata directly from photos.

The problem is known and in my opinion currently only solved in the current Affinity Publisher beta - see link below:
- Placed .afphoto documents can cause redraw issues
- PDF Passthrough could crash when rendering entire placed document
- Positioning pins should not find frames that are not editable
- Hyperlinks with 'MailTo' fail to export when containing a space
- Issues with borderless printing
- Miscellaneous stability updates arising from specific cases
Simply print the image in the Publisher!
