  1. Is this likely to be the cause of Publisher crashing when users try to add pages, manually of via autoflow?
  2. I have this problem, and a similar one. Publisher crashes when I try and add pages manually at the end of a document or through autoflowing text, working on a document pasted in from Word. Only 34 pages created and I need a few more after adding picture frames - every time I shift-click to autoflow, or click to add it crashes. Windows 10, and Affinity 1.10.5.1342 Phillip
  3. Thanks Mike. That fixed it - I don't know why I thought I couldn't just carry out that simple set of actions, nor what I did that was wrong. But I fixed it in that simple way. Phillip
  4. I have a Publisher file which is made up of a series of hand written letters and their transcripts. The transcripts are on the right-hand pages, in text frames which flow into each other. The original letters are in picture frames on the facing left-hand pages, and the letters are pinned to the start of the first word on the right-hand pages. Some letters are more than one page. It was all working well, until I was asked to move a (multi-page) letter forward in the text. (I know - get the text sorted out in Word first etc. Life isn't always like that, sadly.) So, Letters 1,2,3,4,5,6 became 1,2,3,5,4,6. I did this by creating extra pages before letter 4, copying letter 5 and pasting it into the new spaces, and then I attempted to delete the original letter 5. But I ended up with two blank pages which I cannot delete. (The master pages didn't have text frames on them when I created the file, so the intervening step was to add them and do the linking to them, but I am learning as I go along.) So, why can I not delete the blank pages? What should i have done instead? It seems like it should be easy to achieve, and I am sure it is, really - but I don't know how, or where I went wrong. Any help greatly appreciated. I can add a file if needed, if there isn't some obvious mistake I have made. Phillip
