  1. I've found the raison why the penntool automatically, I have to disable the fill in the Colorpanel. And for the first problem, you're right. I turned down the opacity and then the selection dissapears. Sorry I have send this 'problem' but I have learned something. Thank you for that and best regards.
  2. Sorry, but I have the impression this last version of Affinity photo is totally unusable for me. Today I worked in another file. At first all went good. I made a selection, could fill it with a black color. Than, I made a second selection. Again, no problem. Then I wanted to make a third selection and suddenly when I started making the selection, the selection automatically started to fill. I saw no possibility to stop that behavior. I send you the file. Plus a printscreen of what I see. image(3)-selectie-3.afphoto
  3. I upload a printscreen before I saved. Printscreen.afphoto
  4. I don't know if this version is what you want? I took the same picture, used the penn tool and saved it as a second version. I uploaded that version. image(3)-selectie-2.afphoto
  5. When I make a selection using the penntool, the fill is empty (seems black, but the black color is not selected!). I see no color. That's because the opacity is apparently set to 100% by default. (I don't know why that is). When I put the opacity to 0% than I can change the color in the selection panel, but not in color. (I see in your video, you can do that, but I can't) When I try to fill my selection using the Flood Fill tool, it is not possible. But you are using a Macbook Pro M3, I'm using an iMac 2017 with Ventura. Could that be the cause of the problem? If so, what do I have to do to return to a previous version of Affinity Photo?
  6. I made a text, copied it and posted it and this chatbox doesn't take it... So I repeat. I attach the file. It is an image created in Stable Diffusion. Perhaps that's the raison for this strange behavior? When I made a selection using the pentool. At first I got a selection filled with a color. I didn't want the color and I reduced the opacity. Than de selection dissappeared. When I retried now, I see I don't receive a fill color and I can't change the fill color. In the previous version of Affinity I could make a selection without a fill color. And it never dissappeared. So, what can be wrong? Thank you for your reply.
  7. I attach the file. It could also be the file. It is an image derived from Stable Diffusion. When I make a selection with the pen tool it immediately fills with the color of the fill, which I didn't want. I wanted a transparent selection. If I do it again now, I don't get a fill, but I can't color the selection with a fill.... I don't understand it. I feel like that wasn't a problem in the previous version of Affinity. image(3)-selectie.afphoto
  8. Hi, Since version 2.6.0. selections made with the pen tool disappear. I work with an iMac under Ventura 13.5 Can you investigate this please? Thanks
  9. My Paint Brush tool has no triangle... 😂
  10. It was indeed the Paint brush tool. I could refind it thanks to your tip View - Customise tools. Thank you very much and best regards!
  11. Day, Yesterday I worked with Affinity photo 2 and everything was OK. Today I notice that the paint tool is missing from the toolbox in Affinity photo 2. I don't remember I did something wrong I did a studio reset, but the tool remains gone. What do I have to do to get the paint tool back? Kind thanks,
  12. @v_kyr I posted this topic also in the bug section, so we'll see. Thank you.
  13. I created a topic in de Helpdesk section of Affinity Photo, but nobody seems to know the answer, so I consider it as a bug. Can you tell me when this bug will be solved? Thank you.
  14. Day, In Affinity Photo 2.0.4. the problem is still present. I do reset Studio and then they reappear, but of course that's very annoying because I can't personalize AP that way... So, I hope in one of the next upgrades the problem will be solved?
