  1. Thanks for the replies guys, appreciated. @v_kyr I don't believe "Force Pixel Alignment" helps, perhaps I should try to again to make sure I am doing it right, but doesn't look like it. @thomaso 2) is pretty much spot on, as far as I can tell after 1 try, it is what I need 👍
  2. Designer Desktop I draw a rectangle tool and rotate, convert to curve to use as seen in the screenshot. That is I copy the red rectangle, move a rectangle to position on the green shape, node tool to snap to edge of green shape and subtract. Is there any way to preserve the width of the rectangle when using a node tool to snap? I hope my question is clearer with the screenshot. Thanks.
