  1. Hello! I just wanted to provide some feedback that I apparently still have the problem. I don't know why it worked briefly after deleting the settings (I only tried it once), because when I wanted to export files again, I could observe these unsightly color gradients. I helped myself by first exporting the pages of the document as jpeg, then inserting these images into Publisher 1.10.6, and then exporting them again as PDF. The gradients then appear as expected. Perhaps the problem now identified with the color profiles is the cause of my observations. Thanks anyway for all the effort and hard work!
  2. Hello NathanC! Thank you so much for looking into this! I have now really tried all possible PDF export settings and the results were consistently bad, no luck. I also rasterized the layers before exporting in Publisher and the result was slightly better, but still poor. But here's the kicker: I started Publisher while holding down the CTRL key and cleared the export settings for the files (I didn't know about this option before, I discovered it last night thanks to this forum) and now the results are suddenly as expected! What's strange is that I had the same problem on my laptop as well as my desktop computer, also after the update. And I didn't change any export settings there either. Really very strange, but resetting the export settings apparently solved the problem, for whatever reason.
  3. Hello! I think I'm having a problem with Publisher when exporting to PDF. Since the update from 2.1 to 2.2.0, color gradients in the exported PDF file look strange. They are no longer smooth, but rather step-like, as if certain colors are not being displayed. I also opened files created with 2.1 and exported them again, and this effect occurs compared to the previously created PDF. If you export a jpeg, this "bug" does not occur. I have already tested all possible export and "performance" settings, but nothing changes. To demonstrate this, I created a new document (RGB), placed an image, and added a new layer with a color gradient (white to transparent) on top. I have attached the export result. Has anyone else noticed this? Thanks!!! Test.pdf
  4. Hi everybody! I have already tried searching the forum for the bug I have noticed, but unfortunately, I have not found anything. Sorry if this bug was already posted by someone else. It concerns Publisher, and I have noticed the bug since the update to 2.1, and it is still present on 2.2.0. When I click on a placed image, one can change the dimensions at the top left, below the persona icons (DPI x and y or the scaling in percent). Previously, one could position the mouse cursor over the respective fields, and when scrolling with the mouse wheel, both the values and the image would change in real-time. Now, only the value changes, but the image does not change along with it. Only when you click on the field and confirm the changed value with ENTER the size of the placed image change. However, there is another bug: for example, if one changes the percentage value for X from 100 to 110 and presses ENTER, then the value jumps to 111%, so always by 1 more. I also observe the same behavior when I select an image frame and want to change the dpi resolution or the scaling in percent of the image at the top left (below the persona icons). Can anyone else observe this bugs? And sorry for my english, i am german speaking and my last english lesson was more than 25 years ago Thanks!!!!
  5. Hi everybody! I can confirm this behavior (latest program version 1.10.3.1191, HP Z2 workstation, intel UHD 630). I recognized it yesterday when i opened a high resolution jpeg-picture and saved it in .afphoto format. When i close the .afphoto file and reopen it, the picture looks pixelated on high zoom levels, like a picture with lower resolution. When i unlock the layer and move it a little bit, the resolution becomes normal, like it was in the original jpeg-picture. When i place this .afphoto picture in publisher, the picture looks unsharp on high zoom levels. But when i place the jpeg File, the picture looks good as it should. Really weird ... And sorry for my english, i am from Austria and i had my last english lesson more than 20 years ago ;-)
