  1. For my project I want to place a lot of copies of a set of objects into the canvas. I'm looking for a way to do that effectively, i.e. not placing each object seperately. Inkscape had the "spray" tool which was really handy for this purpose. You could even prevent overlap and adjust a size jitter. However I have not yet found an equivalent in Affinity Designer. If this feature doesn't exist, it is certainly a great addition for the next version. Alternatively I tried to make the objects follow along a path like you could do in Photoshop (probably also InDesign but I haven't used that in a while). One workaround in Affinity Designer included copypasting the object into a text path with the Artistic Text tool. This would be great, however I don't want the objects to rotate along the path. So that won't work for me unfortunately. Please let me know if you have a solution to this. And if there is no possibility to do what I described, please consider this for development.
