  1. Hi @Dan C, thanks so much for the prompt reply, and for confirming that it's by design and not me doing something fundamentally wrong Also thanks for the recommendation, which was just what I was after. Much appreciated.
  2. I've created a Live Stack Group of two images, and I want to selectively mask one image. I've added a mask, selected only the mask, and either the Brush or Erase tool. Hardness is set to 0, but the brush retains 100% hardness. See circled in the image. What am I doing wrong here? Selectively brushing a mask should be pretty straightforward and I've done it countless times in Photoshop in years gone by.
  3. Indeed, and if I want to re-do my focus merge all over again, this is another area where Affinity Photo doesn't quite measure up. I have two words: Helicon Focus.
