That's part of what was confusing me I think ... it had been there on my screen previously with the brush. I'm usually using Designer, so it's been a while since I've accessed symmetry on Photo and I'm not sure at what point the lines option hid itself. Very glad to have found it!

Duh ... that's it, Walt. I had tried to slide over, but must have missed the mark with my swipe, and when the setting showed up when I went to the eraser I figured it was just missing. Thanks!

Gen 4 iPad pro 12.9 inch iPadOS 17.4.1. When symmetry is selected when using the brush tool, there is no lines setting box. If I switch to the erase tool, the lines setting becomes available and the setting made there is available for the brush, but still no option to change thiw when the brush tool is active. IMG_3189 shows symmetry on with brush tool and no lines option, 3190 shows the option available when the eraser tool is active.

Yiynova touch screen quit working properly with update. Uninstalled and did reinstall of 1.8.4. Same problem. Start a new document try to draw with brush, get a bunch of radial lines, program crashes. Restart, create new, do brush with mouse, works fine. Try to use pen on touch screen, crash. Uninstalled 1.8.4 reinstall 1.8.3, touch screen works fine.
