  1. massive +1 to this More than once I've spent ages working with for example the clone brush only to discover at some point I've inadvertently added a second nose to someone on another layer. 🤦‍♂️ really?! I find it baffling that a creative software package lets you work on and edit something you can't see. I can't think how that could ever be useful in any circumstance. It's like driving a car with closed curtains in the windows 🤣 (ps I looked in feature requests and searched but couldn't find where this had moved to)
  2. Thanks 😀 Yes, I'm aware of those, but they're all a bit clunky and none to do the scroll through. I guess it's just adapting how I do things and work with the limitations
  3. Hi, I'm a recent Photoshop convert. I'm generally a very happy chap but I am sorely missing the ability to: alt [ (or) alt ] to quickly move up and down from layer to layer. example, In Photoshop, if there are several layers and layer 1 is visible, alt ] selects the next layer and makes it visible, while deselecting and hiding the previous one. Yes, I can alt-click the thumbnail in Photo to do similar (which is a great feature), but the keyboard shortcut is a valuable tool, particularly if you need to a/b/c edits or if animating something. alt click a layers checkbox to show/hide all layers
  4. Hi, I'm new to Publisher, but this REALLY needs text spanning in columns. I'm a little disheartened to flick through these forums and see how many years this feature has been requested. I produce a couple of product catalogues a year and bought Publisher (along with Designer) as a way of escaping the costs and rolling monthly commitment to Adobe. I've just started my first 'conversion' catalogue with Publisher (using imported IDML file) and had to abandon it for InDesign. Every product has a pricing grid with a spanned headline. Luckily, I've only spent an hour but i'm gutted not able to use this. Maybe when I get time I can start again from the ground up and work round this, but this is something I would consider key, especially as Affinity are obviously targeting Adobes customer base.
