  1. You're most welcome, Andy! BTW - great you guys did! Really amazing peace of software. Tom
  2. Andy, if I change the output profile in section 'Profile' in the Develop Persona I get highlighted areas in the image without clipping functionality switch on. See my screenshot. Maybe that points to the problem. Don't know if this highlighting is on purpose. Tom
  3. Hi Andy, next time it appears I will try to note all steps I made. Maybe system cache involved? Tom
  4. Chris, I had another try and this time it worked! The only thing I did between was encrypting my hard drive and therefore had to reboot. The times before I used the sleep mode of the Mac. Cheers, Tom
  5. When I open the file the areas getting highlighted right away. I'll get you a screenshot later this day. Tom
  6. Hi Chris, I couldn't upload it here because of the file type. So here is the GoogleDrive link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1oSD1nz8t_lNGJTam1HQ2VHZlU It's RAW file from a Pana DMC-LX100 in AdobeRGB mode. I didn't tried sRGB yet. My system: MacBook Pro (Retina, mid 2012) Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB macOS Sierra 10.12.1 I attached you 3 screenshot of my AP settings - those maybe of help. Let me know if need further data. Cheers, Tom
  7. When opening a Panasonic RAW (LX100) I can't switch off clipping control using the buttons in the upper right corner of the UI. There is always clipped areas marked in color. Works in version 1.4.3. Cheers, Tom
  8. @MEB: I know that some of the 'unknown' plugins work. Only checked some very roughly. E.g. Dfine seems to have a problem with the preview function. If you activate it screen gets messy and unusable. Without it seems to work. Thanks for your compilation - great! Cheers, Tom
  9. I would find it quite helpful to create a list of working plugins! I do not use that much plugins but I'd appreciate if the NIK plugins would work. As supported I get the following ones listed: - NIK Analog Efex Pro 2 (2.0.12.10, x64 v1.2.11) - NIK Color Efex Pro 2 (4.3.24.10, x64 v1.2.11) If all user add their plugins we'll soon have a very useful list! ;) Cheers, Tom
  10. Does "in any app" mean you can't enter text even in TextEdit? I had a similar behaviour in a other app where a modal window was open but laying behind the visible window. The used app seems to have died but wasn't. Other apps worked fine. Maybe this bug is related to a hidden dialog or something like this? Just guessing ... Best, Tom
  11. I've only installed LR5. To get the plugins you need to do the following: - create a folder where the plugins get installed - start NIK Collection installer - when compatible applications are shown click the '+' and add the previous created folder - do the installation - add the folder you created and where the plugins are installed to Photo 'Plugin search folders' and '/' (this is mostly 'MacintoshHD') Restart Photo and you should have the NIK plugins available. Cheers, Tom Background information: it seems like the installer of the NIK Collection does not install the plugins which are needed by Affinity Photo when you have LR only on your computer and choose the normal installation. You need to do the steps I described to get the plugins if you don't have Photoshop installed.
  12. I've only installed LR5 and the NIK Collection and I can select 'Edit in..' in LR to choose one of the NIK plugins. No Photoshop installed - perhaps this is why I can't find any plugin folder? Cheers, Tom
  13. What folder do I have to use for the NIK Collection and where can I find it! I used '/Applications/NIK Collection' for 'Plugin-Search' and '/' as the support folder but no Plugins show up? Help would be appreciated! Cheers, Tom
