  1. Cheers Chris - fwdd to serif - fingers crossed
  2. Hi all, Bug or lack of AP knowledge? Working on some product mock ups in Affinity and am struggling in achieving the look I get when loading up on PS (using PS trial to compare) - clips of png exports below (original Affinity the larger one on left, PS next to it). Looking at the AF version it misaligns / size the texture layer, adjusting this layer helps (the 3rd png) but coverage isn't perfect and still doesn't look quite right - almost looks like the patterns contains blocky artifacts. PS renders the textures significantly better. Both working files attached. Thanks everyone - always appreciate your help! 3. Old thread but i'm still having the same issue - PS liquify filter not translating across to AP and various layers not lining up. I posted the issue but no fix yet - did you get it figured out?
  4. Evening folks - Newbie questions but have scoured the forum for the answer before posting in case there was a very easy solution but couldn't find one so hoping you can help. End result will be a text which maintains the spiral colour that i can put on different backgrounds. The word 'Centric' will be on items of various background colours so I need the main 'filled' area of each letter to have the spiral colour gradient visible (as it is in the image attached) while the checkerboard will of course be represented by whichever colour document it will be printed on. The large spiral background in the attached will also of course be deleted. Not sure how to progress beyond the attached. Converted to curves. Erase blend mode. Whenever i move the text it doesn't maintain the spiral effect i keep trying to impress on it. Any guidance is much appreciated, thanks so much everyone! Pete centric.afdesign
