  1. I use the OpenSans font from Google. When I create documents with Affinity Publisher and OpenSans and export to PDF, the font is not embedded correctly. The sub-variant "Regular" is embedded correctly. The "Light" variant is not embedded, even though I have set the options to embed fonts fully. AcrobatReader therefore uses a substitute font, which destroys my layout. Why are fonts not fully embedded?
  2. Start of Affinity Photo and any other Affinity app on latest Mac Book Pro 16" take always long time compared to other apps. Start takes about 35s !
  3. Thank you Walt! From Photoshop I do not know this behavior - so this is new for me! Jochen
  4. When I crop an image, the image itself will be cropped, but the canvas remains still in the original size (see picture, blue frame of marking). When I now copy this cropped image to another Affinity Photo image or file it appears again in the original size - not in the cropped size. For me this looks like that cropping in Affinity Photo does not make a "physical" crop. How can I make a "real" physical crop? Should I always trim the image after cropping? I yes - what is the right way to trim? Can somebody tell me the best practice to crop an image physically? Thank you very much!
