  1. The great many of us who like to use Separated Mode were told to stick to Designer V1. With the macOS 14 Sonoma update, V1 no longer works, so this option has now evaporated. I know I am far from alone in preferring to work in separated mode - to the point that I am considering abandoning Designer. Is there any plan to bring separated mode back? Can there PLEASE be an V2 update with this function restored?
  2. Hi, any movement on this? I would love to be able to see the outlines of the objects I have selected, rather than guessing whether they are selected.
  3. Is there any movement on this issue? It's very problematic - it prevents me from knowing how many objects I've selected in a given area. Also, if I select a large number of objects, and then want to deselect a single one, I have no way of knowing if I have done so. This is a major flaw in Designer, and makes want to migrate back to Illustrator.
  4. Hi folks, Anyone else encountered this weird bug in Affinity Designer? I selected a large area of the document and the selection box just 'froze'. I could still move the mouse and even move between windows, but the blue box remained there, overlaying everything I did. I quit and reopened and it vanished.
  5. Thank you all for your detective work, and to @thomaso for posting the bug report. Hope this gets fixed.
  6. Hi all, I recently abandoned Illustrator to use Affinity Designer on a Macbook Pro. When I use the MOVE tool to select multiple objects, I see that only 249 objects maximu will be highlighted with blue outlines. If I select 250 or more objects, and the outlines of individual objects no longer show up, which is a real pain. I want to visualize which objects I have selected. Can anyone suggest a fix for this? Thanks!
