  1. Just spoke to Skylum and the answer was... Yeah, there's no problem with Photoshop plugin "it's all been fixed" "and we don't support Affinity Photo". Thanks guys!
  2. Sadly can't try that as I don't have Photoshop and the option to install plugins is greyed out.
  3. Thanks for the input. In fairness, using Luminar as a stand alone, outside of AP, has some advantages. You don't get access to the Catalogue section of Luminar when used as a plugin, for instance. Guess, I will just have to get used to a different workflow. Thanks again.
  4. Hi all. Just had an update for Luminar Neo, which was working fine as a Plugin before but now won't load from within Affinity Photo. I get the following error: Windows cannot find 'bad'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again. Bit random really, not sure why it's looking for something called 'bad'. Anyone else have this problem? Solution? I've tried re-linking the Luminar directory, but suspect the file AP is looking for has been moved somewhere else during the Luminar update.
  5. I use Inkscape if I need to trace, and it's completely free. Does a good job, but would prefer if it was native to Affinity products. I'm sure it's on their list of things to do. Anyone form Serif got a comment about this, as it's a deal breaker for a lot of people?
  6. Thanks. Great product BTW. Switched from the greedy PS mid-year and haven't missed it at all. Except could do with some artistic filters and auto-trace. Looking forward to the journey. Regards RH
  7. Ah. I have just discovered that this only happens with hardware acceleration on. My card is a Radeon RX 580. No problem with the acceleration turned off.
  8. Hi. I Use Affinity Photo to process album covers for my MP3 collection. Using the Beta 1.9.0.864, when I copy an image to paste into another app (In this case an MP3 editor) I just get a white box. No Image. And yes, I have flattened the artwork and it is Pixel, not Image format. I'm doing everything I would normally do in 1.8 full release. I have attached a screen grab showing 4 attempts to copy an image that shows up only as white squares in Windows Clipboard. I get the same in all other apps I try to paste directly from Affinity, apart from other image editors, such as Photoshop. Regards. R. Harris.
  9. Guys. You have to have a trace tool soon. It's embarrassing. Why should I go to a third party tool, when most (even freeware) vector software has had this function for some years. It's a deal killer for some and it doesn't help when people are being pushed to other apps such as Inkscape, which is excellent within itself and could lead to potential customers wondering if they even need AD. I love your software and am loyal to it, but the lack of a trace tool leaves me scratching my head.
