Thank you for your answers. I had also emailed Affinity and got a response from Dan. When I exported the same files today from .afdesing to .pdf the the font rendered ok, so over the weekend the issue must have somehow resolved.

Avenir Next is not rendering correctly to pdf

Stine posted a topic in V1 Bugs found on macOS

I use Avenir Next for a client flyer. I noticed that the font does not render correctly into pdf. It works fine to jpg. How can I attach files to show the problem?
