Thanks for checking. Yes it was a portrait document. I have tried to replicate the crash today without success! Using either live filter or Filters, Distort, or even the Perspective tool it worked fine every time.
I then tried with Preferences set again to 'Enable Metal Compute....' and again all worked as it should.
I'm assuming it was some oddity in how I did things before. All OK now. Thanks

Apologies for using the wrong thread.
To answer the questions: I can't remember if I was using the colour picker at that point; I'm 90% sure I was using Filters, Distort, Perspective.
