  1. No, it's not the full size original, it's 20,8 MB, just a bit to big. I'll decrease the photo.
  2. As you see there is a lot of dust on the roof. I tried the inpainting brush tool, but the result is not good enough. Can somebody help? Thanks a lot! Luc
  3. Yes Allan, all works fine. I also wrote down every step. Now I will follow https://affinity.ser...ideo-tutorials/ (which you mentioned in your first reply). You was very helpful, thank you a lot! Luc
  4. Found it! Now I have to select the layer (not the mask) and cmd+I. This is the result of a second photo where I made the factory much longer.
  5. Maybe 1 question: after cmd+I (invert mask) and painting (hardness 0%), which command do I have to push to invert to the correct color? Not cmd+I?
  6. I tried it again Allan and now I had it right. As you mentioned : "you've got the layer selected. Not the mask". That was my problem. Many thanks again! Luc
  7. I don't know Allan, I lost my way, sorry, it is possible it has to do with the language. For example you say 'click the drop down arrow for that layer'. I don't understand what you mean. It should be very helpful if you can explain me step by step + photo. Am I asking too much? Luc
  8. sorry Allan, I still have black, not what I want ... It should be very very helpful I you tell me step by step, maybe with screenprints. I know I am asking too much. regards, Luc
  9. That's right Allan, but I could not see any difference moving up and down the brush. Any way, the result is OK. Now I am looking at all the 'lessons' you mentioned in your first reply. I work now on the beta program because I have 10.10 beta on my iMac. Hopefully Affinity will fix the problem soon. Regards, Luc
  10. OK, now it's clean. My problems is I am not yet used to the terminology. Now I know what 'mask icon' is. That will help me further. Thank you Allan!
  11. Hi Allan, you say:"Mask the duplicate" How do I do that? I'm new you see. than use the Brush Tool you write. Is it the 'Paint Brush Tool'? you reply please. Many thanks, Luc
  12. Thank you very much -mystrawberrymonkey/ (what a special name ...), I'll try it. Must be easy. Regards, Luc
  13. The attached files will explain what I mean. See the first photo. At the end you see a wall, and also machinery. With Photoshop, the wall is gone, also the machinery and it looks like the hall is very very long. My question: how do you do this in Affinity Photo? If possible a step by step guide. Many thanks!
  14. Thank you, I hope for a quick update. I like AD, so I was surprised after the update to the new 10.11...
  15. I cannot open existing files, and I cannot quit AD, have to force quit. Since new OS (10.11 beta 15A236d) What to do? Luc
