IT DID OPEN A PANTONE PDF Hi MED and Quarian, I just tried again to open an PDF with Pantone colors. It DID open! Yeah! It is white but it is there. I put into outline mode and re-colored the white. Perfect. I just show the client the design in CMYK. When approved, I change the colors to pure C, M, Y, and K and specify Pantone colors to the printing company for spot color printing like: C=Pantone Reflex Blue, M=Pantone 021, etc. Thank you.

Hi MEB, I think I found the reason. Most of my PDF files (generated from Adobe Illustrator) are in spot (pantone) colors. I was able to open up a CMYK PDF. Please advise me when your software supports Pantone colors or even when it can open spot color PDFs. Thank you.

Affinity Designer does NOT open my AI or PDF files.

Cannot open my Illustrator files in Affinity Designer. Very, very disappointing because the website says it opens .AI files. Please change your website info with "Opens SOME .ai files."
