Thank you, not sure what i did different but have opened the box using control and been able to reset and burn/ dodge group of icons now working. Thank you so much. really appreciate your quick response. so grateful.

have lost the ability to widen all three items in the burn tool icons set. Using bracket keys the numbers in the top box indicating size goes up but the the cross hairs do not expand. works with all other brushes. i have deleted photo and downloaded again. The pressing on photo icon and pressing ctrl does not bring up the factory reset option. nor does it reset in preferences box.
