  1. Turning accelerator off won't help. I can open Sony A7RII, A7RIII, Sony A850 and A99 ARW files, but these A7II ARW's won't open. What Sony ARW-files you have? Regards, Mika
  2. Hello, I have used Capture One as my main raw editor, and I have found it's Color Editor / Skin tone "editor" really useful for me as I have quite a lot of photos where is lots of skin area to retouch. Here is how C1 Skin tone editor looks: Basically you select target color range from skin with color picker and then you can use "Uniformity" sliders to even out Hue, Saturation and Lightness differences in skin area (you can mask out skin to be more precise and target only to skin area). Is there any way to mimic this with AP2? Capture One upgrade policy and prices are outrageous, so I would like to get rid of using C1 and use only Affinity Photo, but this skin editing is tool what I really miss if I leave from C1. Here is more advanced explanation what Color Editor / Skin tone editor does: https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002596077 Regards, Mika
  3. Hello, I tried to open Sony A7II ARW file, but it opened only partially. See attached screenshot. Regards, Mika
  4. Yes, but still there is no proper and full explanation of layer blend modes, how they work and what they are good at. No matter if one uses AP-1 or AP-2. Serif has had plenty of time to make proper documentation, but they haven't done. Now users must rely on third party guides and YouTube tutorials which are not comprehensive. But of course it is good that there is such third party guides and tutorials. -Mika-
  5. Thank you. I have tried to search suitable YouTube videos, but haven't found proper explanation for all blend modes that one can find from Affinity Photo 2. I still feel Serif should document these anyway to their online help. -Mika-
  6. Yes, this is good tip to try to find descriptions of photoshop blending modes. -Mika-
  7. Thank you for this. Blending examples behind that link are hard to understand at least for me and mathematical formulas...well they are not useful for average user like me. I think that if Sherif puts these blend modes to their products, they should explain all blend modes, their effect and use in their own documentation properly. Regards, Mika
  8. Hello, Where can I find all Affinity Photo 2 layer blend modes explained? What each blend mode does etc.? I have looked Affinity online help -> Layer blending. There is only few basic blend modes explained: Normal, Multiply, Screen etc. These are not explained: Darken, Darker Color, Lighten, Lighter Color, Color Dodge, Add, Soft Light, Hard Light, Vivid Light, Pin Light, Linear Light, Linear Burn, Hard Mix, Difference, Exclusion, Subtract, Hue, Saturation, Luminosity, Color, Average, Negation, Reflect, Glow, Contrast Negate, Erase and Passthrough. Why these are not explained in online help? Where can i find explanation for these blend modes and their uses? Regards, Mika
  9. When will AP get Layer Fill slider that works like one in Photoshop does? Opacity slider does not work like Fill slider does. Both sliders are needed. When will we see those in AP? AFAIK currently there is nothing similar like Photoshops "Layer Fill" -slider in AP. -leinmi-
