  1. I also have an issue with snapping--when I'm trying to align repeating patterns, it often snaps them together incorrectly, leaving a gap. I often have to manually scoot images to align with a 1px overlap to make the pattern look okay. Not sure why that is. It's pretty frustrating.
  2. Thank you so much for the information. I appreciate it! I think I will use Publisher for this project. I've been excited to look through it, but haven't had a chance yet.
  3. I suppose so. I guess it seems like I'd be overcomplicating it by putting it through Publisher instead of just pasting the text into Photo, but you're right--I did already pretty much answer myself. Thanks for your reply.
  4. Good morning, I am wanting to create a decorative document for a short story I wrote. Pleasing sepia tones, swirls, all that fun stuff (kind of what you guys have in the tutorial with Alice in Wonderland for Publisher). Since it's such a short story though, I don't know if Publisher or Photo is a better program to use for this project. I was hoping to use it as kind of a self-tutorial to learn the basics of Publisher, but since the story is fewer than 5,000 words and I want it to be one long image document (no pages), I'm not sure that's the case. Do you think Photo or Publisher is a better tool for this project? I'm not familiar enough with Publisher to know. Thanks, Lisa
  5. Hello, I have seen a couple of similar posts addressing this issue, but I've tried all the solutions shown and they haven't worked. A couple of times now, a downloaded stock image from Shutterstock has presented annoying thin lines around masks on the image. They show when exported, too. You can see them pretty clearly in the screenshot I attached, in the darker gray clouds. In other areas of the image, I've hidden the masks and fixed the issues, but I can't do that here; it really alters the image. I have "use precise clipping" turned on, and I've tried editing the blend mode of the masks, and nothing has fixed it. Help? Thanks so much.
