  1. thanks to everyone! of course I have my important projects also on my HD, but I wanted to transfer everything now, so the question I am doing it manually however and it's ok now...
  2. Thanks! I think ill be forced to do it manually since I’ll have the new iPad AFTER this one will be sold…
  3. I am getting a new iPad yes, but apparently another user said that files are not stored in the backup…
  4. Thanks, I have to better understand the first part of your message, but I think it’s more a suggestion for the future. For the second part, as far as I understood so I am doomed and I have to MANUALLY open and save hundreds of files and ADTER THAT reassemble them in projects??
  5. I have all my files saved inside the affinity designer app. I absolutely have not the possibility to save one by one all the files because they are hundreds and they are organized into projects: savings and one by one will take days and days and I will lose all the project organizations. I was therefore wondering if I do the iPad back up with the Mac finder as usual, if I restore this back up on a new iPad, will I find all my projects on the new iPad or it will only transfer that affinity designer app?
  6. Sorry to double ask but this is pretty urgent to me and I have to fix this within few hours, since I’m selling my iPad. are all the project and files stored in the iPad general backup? thank you!
  7. 17 views and no one knows? Please if someone could help this is pretty urgent since I’m selling my old iPad…
  8. Is there any chance that all the projects and files are also stored in the iPad back up?
  9. please tel me this is a planned feature coming like next week... I could't use cloud earlier and now I have almost hundreds files to transfer... Is there a way to transfer them on a Mac HD?
  10. I see that most of the other topics get e reply, I’m guessing this is bad news for my hopes (and I had to remake my yearly Adobe subscription meanwhile)
  11. Affinity Designer is great, with some limits that I already have suggested to fix), and I would be more than happy to jump 100% on that over Adobe Illustration (which makes a hell of a nightmare to produce also the super simple stuff). Unfortunately, when it comes to MOTION GRAPHICS, it is now impossible to work on After Effects with affinity designers Vectors* SUGGESTION/QUESTION: is there any plan to actually put out in the market an after effects equivalent from affinity, to produce motion graphics within this suite? if not, is there any hope to get a full compatibility? thanks. *there is a walk around but: 1) it works 50% of the times 2) also when it works, it creates a huge mess in the file list which makes actually impossible to work with many projects.
  12. of course, but this is what a big competitor such as Affinity should fix to get that part of Adobe customers, programming is not an issue that a user should think about. and this is not a complain, but a simple thought from a user that recognizes the potential of Affinity but sadly cannot fully rely on it . I do not agree: as I just said, it is Affinity’s (or any other competitor) duty to do the best to get clients from other companies, to increase their share of the market. And this is for a simple reason: we have to work, not to waste time contacting random creators asking to redo their work (and hoping they will actually do it, and they mostly won’t, so che their money is already granted though Adobe). Why? Very easy to explain: designers already have a huge stock of owned mock-ups for which they already spent a lot of money on, so there is no way you can ask a designer to reinvest money and time on something they already own, if you want them to jump from Adobe to your company. and I say this, while I am already a quite happy Affinity designer user (but o still made a list with key missing feature there too. Thanks for trying, hope you can find a way through this.
  13. I see, thank you. this is really disappointing for me as I was really hoping to get a change to fully get to jump to Affinity and to leave Adobe. But this issue should be really addressed and fixed by Affinity, as this is a key feature that people working in the field cannot avoid to use on a daily basis.
  14. Sorry to insist, but I’m having working issue and it would be great to know how to fix this 😉
  15. In the best case they simply don’t show the logo I put in at all. in the worst case it is not even created an embedded file so it’s impossible to actually put the logo into the mock-up. I can’t upload the PSD because it’s legally owned by me under license and it’s not legal to share it, but I upload a couple of screens to show what happens. The comparison is between the file how it should work in Photoshop and how it works in Affinity Photo. in the last one, the one with the library, it is also impossible to actually make the substitution of the logo with my original.
  16. I was trying to open a PSD mock-up file (several, actually), I checked the import smart object and everything, but still it doesn’t work. what am I doing wrong? can someone show me the process? Thanks!
  17. I hope it's true, however, I was not hoping for promises, more like a feedback that posts are read, so one knows it's not a total waste of time to use this section. Hopefully they will fix and implement some of these things, I am being forced to switch to illustrators many times lately for the biggest projects, as it has some killing features, and honestly, I do not like to use illustrator if I can, I would like to stick to Affinity as much as possible.
  18. Is there any reason why we should post in this section if we get no feedbacks from the developers? Is there a way to know if our messages are just a placebo effect void, or you actually read them?
  19. It would be great id any Moderator and/or Developer would drop a line here to say anything about hopes regarding these options.
