Thank you for the quick response, it solved my problem :-)

How can I turn off spell check on the iPad version of Affinity Designer as the red lines beneath words that the program does not know are distracting. Or can I say ignore this word? I couldn't find an option in the settings.

Having downloaded the iPad App first and after some time the desktop version I find it the other way round. The gestures and the optimized user interface for touch make it in my opinion more intuitiv. I guess it depends on what you are used to work with.
