  1. For some reason I duplicated it again on another artboard and they disappeared. Must've been a glitch but thank you anyway. Sometimes even when I use the Erase tool with a border around a shape it shows up with a faint lines around it and sometimes it doesn't. Thank you for getting back to me.
  2. I've intersected this thick wavy line so that it goes inside the circle (as seen in the photo), but i see faint horizontal lines through the middle of it. Is there a way of getting rid of this and having it all as one shape please?
  3. I have text on my logo, but when I have it as a text file rather than setting it to curves, the text gets smaller when I enlarge the logo in the PDF. Is there any way of overcoming this?
  4. One other tiny thing is that I've converted the text on my logo as curves when exporting the PDF, due to the text getting smaller when I enlarge the logo. Is converting the text to curves a better idea anyway?
  5. I did find out eventually that I had to invert it and did it a harder and longer way to what you said. I managed to add all the curves from the texture vector together (took a long time), then subtract from a rectangle to create the negative space. That did work! So at this moment, I finally got it working and exported to a PDF. It's not in the layers I did on the afdesign, but I don't mind that, it works so well! Thank you and everyone else on here so much for your help! I really appreciate it.
  6. I've tried both ways, texture on shape, and shape on texture, and they're both the same result.
  7. It was the ink layer, but I removed the effects before I did the clipping, just to show where the marks are.
  8. Hi @loukash I just tried out the clipping as you suggested, after expanding all the strokes to fills (I think I have anyway). Might be obvious, but where have I gone wrong?
  9. This is exactly what I wanted! When I finish work in a couple of hours, I’ll see if I can achieve this. I’ll let you know how I get on. I really appreciate the help. Thank you. 🙂
  10. I do have a vectorised version of the texture I did online, but do I need to add all the different parts of said texture together first to do the Boolean subtract? It took absolute ages when I tried it.
  11. Yes I do want the texture to show through the rest of the logo as transparent (if I worded it right), so it can go on any colour background. That was the aim. Hence why I had it as Erase, but that doesn’t work when making a PDF.
  12. The latter option sounds like the desired effect for me, I’m guessing merging all the black layers will be with the add option? I’m sorry but how do you nest/clip the texture? By the way, thank you for getting back to me.
  13. I just used Vectorization.org actually, just to try it out and it doesn't look bad. I would need to work out tomorrow how to subtract this layer through multiple groups and layers, which all have different strokes. Guessing I would need to merge everything together somehow...
  14. I've actually done a group now, with a circle, inner circles (with dashes), text, and a vector image inside. How do I clip the texture?
