Same behaviour! After the first start everthing was german but not the dropdown field in the swatches panel, where i can choose betwenn gradients, colors and greys. I can save an delete swatches After the second start also the dropdownfield was localized to german actions (delete add) to the swatches panel are not longer possible

No both showing the same behaviour - I recently installed this Update, this post is older. I tried out Italian and it does also NOT work - ONLY English!

Windows Pro and German (Build 10.0.18363.476) Update 1909 installed but without it shows the behaviour as described.

What directory are you talking about? The directory from the user profile ?

If I switched to german in Affinity Photo it shows no different behaviour, it is not working as i described (no possibility to add/delete swatches) But if you cannot replicate it, it could be a problem on my machine - thank you for testing it.

Yes it shows the same behaviour. It looks like no action works, it depends not only gradients, even solid fill could not be added and also not deleted, if i try to delete. The confirmation popup appears but the swatch is not removed. As i asked .... the test should be easy, it is only necessary to switch to German try it out, that does not mean that you should work with German for the rest of your life, you can switch back after the test.

Steps to the behaviour: I was not able to save a gradient as a swatch I deleted the folders for Affinity Photo from my user profile I started Affinity Photo again I was able to save the gradient as a swatch. But I also recognized that some parts of the UI where not German I closed AP again started and it was NOT possible to save the gradient as a swatch. And everything was German I switched to English Now it’s possible to save again and again, even I restart It is a vector! Maybe somebody with a similar setup (Windows 10, Affinity Photo 1.7.3) can validate this behaviour. I don't think the language of the operating system will be important. My setup : Windows 10 Pro, 32 GB RAM, AMD Threadripper 1950x, Affinity Photo 1.7.3
