I managed to figure out what the problem was, I didn't have the .NET Framework 4.8 Runtime(https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net48?utm_source=getdotnet&utm_medium=referral) on my pc, which is running on Windows 7 and is 64-bit. Once I downloaded and installed the .NET framework, installation run smoothly without a hitch and now am ready and excited to work with Affinity Designer for my projects! :-)

I just purchased Affinity Designer 1.7.3 today and neither the purchased version or the trial are installing/working on my pc. Am I missing something?
