  1. Hi Ray! That seems to have done the trick. Is this a bug? Is there a specific reason the preview and the export do not look the same with my original settings? Thank you for the help! :)
  2. Hello, I'm using the newest version of Affinity Designer on the latest release of Windows 10, and my exported graphic is different from how it appears while working on it. In the relevant portion of my graphic, this is how it appears in Affinity Designer (on the left) and how it appears after exporting (on the right) where the shirt is suddenly transparent: I've tried everything: triple checking blend modes, making sure layer visibilities are correctly set, trying both File > Export and the Export persona, checking export settings, but no luck. This is how it comes out as long as the t-shirt has a gradient overlay effect. Is there any fix, or do I just need to manually work around it? I've attached a sample file. SampleFile.afdesign
  3. I am having this issue too. I too thought I would have to downgrade. Fortunately the suggested workaround for creating a new document first seems to have alleviated the issue. Though I agree this should be an extremely high priority to fix. I'm not sure if it's necessary to provide the file(s) that were crashing, because as far as I can tell it was all files doing it. Though I will gladly provide a document if I'm wrong.
  4. Wow! Can't believe I missed that in the context menu. Thank you for pointing that out. Yes, renaming the global colour name changes the name in the swatches panel as expected. Sorry for the unnecessary post.
  5. I cannot change the name of any swatches in any document. This worked for awhile, but now the names are stuck. If I click "rename" I will see the name I actually set come up in the rename dialog, but the name in the list will not change. I've tried everything except reinstalling. I can only think this is a bug. Steps: Create document palette Create global color Set as "spot color" Try to rename the color
