  1.

I was using the text tool all morning on affinity designer desktop successfully. Then for no reason that I can figure out, I can no longer see the text when I use the tool. My background is white. The text is black.

With the text tool still on my Mouse, I drag it over the layer and when doing so I can see the letter (Text) but when I release the mouse; the text disappears. I’ve tried everything I can think of to no avail. I would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. Yes, you have guessed right, I’m still a greenhorn on affinity designer :-).

  2. I’m trying to establish if affinity photo and designer will work successfully on a Wacom Cintiq 16?

When I say successfully, I mean without any hassle or problems.

I purchased affinity photo a couple of weeks ago, I am going to purchase designer and a brand-new Wacom Cintiq 16 but first I was hoping someone with hands-on experience of these tools could tell me if the package will work together. I want to use the Wacom Cintiq 16 with “Corel Painter” I am keeping my fingers crossed I can use it with affinity photo/designer too.

All advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  3. I purchased and downloaded affinity photo yesterday, yes I am a complete novice. I successfully imported brushes this morning but this afternoon I attempted to import Olivio Sarikas 5 Free New portrait styles without success. From the information I was able to obtain on the web I followed instructions to the letter but nothing worked. Could you guys give me a step-by-step process that will work, please? Sorry, I should have said I'm operating on Windows 10. Thanks in advance.
