  1. Hi Thank you and sorry for the delay in my response. I’m running macOS 12.6 and have a MacBook Pro 2018 attached to a Samsung 24 inch external monitor. I’m not aware of any other app interfering with my screen rendering so far.
  2. When using V1 I did not encounter this problem. I’m on macOS and have German as the language of my operating system. I just created a new document.
  3. It would be great if elements on the canvas would not move when toggling preview mode on and off. This was already present in V1 as well. redraw.mp4
  4. Is anyone else experiencing this issue: The top and side row/column headers for adjusting the width and selecting whole rows/columns are missing. Sorting options dialogue box has three different type sizes in the UI table.mp4
  5. According to the documentation of V2 most dictionaries – except a few – should be already installed. The German dictionary is missing see attached screen capture.
  6. In several areas there is cut off and squashed text in the Stroke Panel which makes it harder or almost impossible to read.
  7. Something that causes a lot of additional cleanup work when importing idml files is if the InDesign file contained many text frames (mainly single line frames) that were “fit to content” they will not be rendered big enough in Publisher to immediately show the text. Rather the textbooks have to be enlarged to get all the text. It would be great to correctly handle this on import.
  8. @PaulsThe issue with with the disappearing cursor when pulling assets from the Asset Panel to the document is only happening in version 1.9.1 and not in 1.8.6
  9. No, the text gets resized even if I pull it back into the document out of which I created the asset from. And why should it resize text? That should be completely independent of what dpi the document has. I also tested it with a different dpi setting – same result.
  10. @Pauls, sure. Here is a link to the file: https://fromsmash.com/UhJng1T45b-dt the original file has more pages and I realized that opening the same idml file now takes more time in Affinity 1.9.1. compared to 1.8.6 Thanks for looking into this. My specs are: MacBook Pro (15 Inch, 2018) 2,9 GHz Intel Core i9 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 Radeon Pro 560X 4096 MB Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
  11. I tested again with versions 1.9.1 and 1.8.6. This behavior is showing in both versions. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the objects pulled into the Assets Panel come from a converted idml file. From scratch created elements work as expected.
  12. When grouping objects and converting them into an Asset, the text of a text box is shrunk when the Asset is placed on a new page. Furthermore it is not possible to place the Asset in the document from which it came. The Asset vanishes from the cursor when dragging the Asset from the Asset panel to the canvas. The file was an idml file. test_in_asset_shrunk.mp4 disappearing_placing_cursor.mp4
  13. Ah, sorry forgot to add that. It’s Mojave 10.14.5. I have an EIZO screen connected to a MacBook Pro via HDMI. The screen capture is from the big screen.
  14. When creating a new text frame a default “Space after Paragraph” of 12 pt is created. I think this should be 0 pt.
  15. The use of scrollbars seems buggy as they appear and disappear with using the “Zoom to Fit” command. Please see attached screen capture. Specs: MacBook Pro (15 Inch, 2018) 2,9 GHz Intel Core i9 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 Radeon Pro 560X 4096 MB Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB scroll-bars_publisher.mp4
