For some reason pressing D does not reset the colors to black and white. I've tried reseting keyboard shortcuts to default but still no luck. Any ideas on how to fix it?

The affinity help file is quite sparse and I keep finding that when I want to automate a complex procedure somewhere along the line I meet a greyed out box or a dialog which says a step can't be recorded. Is there a list anywhere of what does or doesn't work so I can plan to avoid hitting a wall halfway through?

If I use a live filter ie Unsharp Mask and then either merge or use merge layers or flatten the document the appearance of the file onscreen changes. The filter appears to apply at a lower setting. I never saw this in 1.6
