  1. Is there any way to choose the DPI used for rasterization in AD? I am working on a large, multi-artboard document and want to rasterize some vector art to reduce the file size of the PDF I'll eventually export. But I still want the document's viewers to be able to zoom in and inspect the art at a reasonably crisp resolution. Changing the DPI of the document doesn't seem to work, as it doesn't rescale my artboards. How can I fix this? Thanks!
  2. Bug report: moving an artboard and then saving causes the app to hang indefinitely in the "Saving…" state. The save progress bar appears but never fills up.
  3. Gladly! I'll also attach a screencast. Thanks so much—you guys are seriously incredible. Not sure how you have time to develop the pants off the industry leader while simultaneously getting into the weeds with individual users. Keep this up and I'll get a Serif tattoo :)
  4. Affinity Team—fantastic work on these extremely useful new features. My only worry is that both betas of 1.5 are much slower than 1.4.2 for common actions like dragging, copying, and resizing objects. All previous versions of AD have always kept up with me, drawing instantly no matter how complex my document was. But 1.5 chugs along, often taking several seconds to rerender as I drag. Will there be a tuneup before 1.5 is released, or is this the cost of the new features? I hope not. To me, AD's most important feature has always been its astonishing performance, which exposes Adobe for the nonnative crap that it's always been. AD is still years ahead, but IMO speed should always come before clever new tools.
  5. Bumping up this thread, as I still find myself tripping over this issue when I use the app. Anyone else find this to be a snag in their workflow?
  6. Noticed a frustrating issue in Designer. Description below; .gif attached. When I duplicate and move an object by option- or command-dragging, and then I undo, I often wind up with a "stack" of erroneous duplicates in the object's original position. This can be hard to notice, and often results in a cluttered layers panel and a heavy document. The issue here is that in other apps, the convention is that option-dragging is a single command, which is entirely cancelled by an undo. But in Designer, an option-drag is actually two commands: there is an implicit copy at first, and then a translation. Undo only reverses the translation, not the copy. It's hard to remember to undo twice when I've only performed one action, and the resulting pileup of artwork is easy to miss. Thanks a ton, Serif—I love Designer, and you guys are just amazing!
