image was less bright, less saturated, hues shifted i have installed my image garden - found for mg7740 - which seems to be close. and boom, magic happend - i havent seen any settings there but photo printed looks very close to what i see in screen. brighter, more saturated, with same white balance. in the meantime i have updated printer firmware and MIG fixed some color profile on my Mac. but from my experience on windows it is just about this software which can do such printing. althoug i had older version of Mig on windows and it had some more settings.

it is not about displaying picture as it will be printed. it is other way around. printing as displayed. and canon software was doing that, it was not displaying me preview with changed look on a photo, it was printing what i was seeing as srgb. not exactly but very close. as i probably mentioned several time.

i have my monitor calibrated. if i dont want to adjust my final photo, how do i force printing same colors? on windows i had same problem but i found one working solution - some rubbish canon software for my canon printer - if i print from there colors are printed same as on screen. for mac i was not able to find this software, but it must be possible with some settings to print same colors.

setting brush size with shortcut

that works. i think i preffered how it work before, but maybe i will get used to. but also other things about navigating on fields seems to be changed ( i mean f*cked up) - when i enter ratio for cropping ( 4 x 5 in example) after entering first value (4) i press tab to go to second field but it dont go to next field, just leave editable fields, so when i type value 5 it sets opacity. the best would be just restore how it worked in v1 -
setting brush size with shortcut

now i have stuck on this again. im on mac os now. i click with mouse on flow i type in number, i press tab it goes to hardness. then i always press tab again to leave editable fields and my brush should have focus to change size with [ ]. here i currently cant change size with [ ] as tab cycles me through all editable fields. length, symmetry and back to width, opacity, flow again. -
in the rgb scopes (both) values from the bottom (0%) are seen on the top level (100%). that is even useful to help visualise clipped blacks so not sure if it is a bug or a feature

hey @Callum any chance to fix that file? -
i set brush flow and/or hardness and then i want to set size with [ ] keys. it was easier in v1. i just had to use tab key once to leave editable value field. now i have to click with brush somewhere below to make it sizechangeable. or maybe with mutiple tab keys you can go through all options, but that is even less comfortable.
