This is terrible, I must pay twice for the software? Surely there is a work around? Serif took my money via the app store so why can't I move my software?

Could anyone let me know how I can transfer my Appstore version for Affinity Design to a Windows PC. I made the call to switch to PC from mac and I now need to transfer the license. Many thanks!
