  1. Hello, The problem disappeared by uninstalling Publisher and then reinstalling it properly (could be a registry key problem after multiple updates, i don't know)
  2. Hello. Publisher is crashing when : - I try to go to "Preferences" (so I can't see if Hardware Acceleration is on or not, but I think it's off) - I hit Space bar when trying to type text (simple text or artistic text), in a new document or an existant document (I tried with several files). The attached videos stop when Publisher crash Publisher 1.10.1 1142 Windows 10 20H2 Computer : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz, 12 GB DDR3, GeForce GTX 770, Affinity Publisher 2021-09-10 Preferences.mp4 Affinity Publisher 2021-09-10 SpaceBar.mp4 Sans titre.afpub 0b5ad352-2ab5-41ff-b007-5e9e4c23bd6b.dmp
  3. Oups ! I didn't find this topic in my research. Curiously, I'd never seen this bug in my previous works. I will just disable "Typographic quotes dependent on language" for my work, until Affinity corrects that. Thanks
  4. Hello, I found a bug I've never seen since I use Publisher. When I try to type an apostrophe (') the text (whatever the font) write in publisher is a single right-pointing angle quotation mark ( › ) : L'arbre -> text pasted from Affinity Designer L ›arbre -> text pasted from Affinity Publisher Edit : This bug seems to appear when language used is "French". The apostrophe is correctly typed in English language. How to resolve this problem ? Edit 2 : The bug disappears when "Typographic quotes dependent on language" is disabled. This problem is mentioned in this topic (but in my case I'm not on Mac, not on Pre 1.8 beta and appears whatever the font) :
  5. Hello, After browsing the software, here are the changes that could be made in the menus and sub-menus. Version 1.7.0.376 French "Édition" - Collage spécia... > Collage spécial... "Texte" - Espacement - Paramètrepar défaut > Paramètre par défaut - Condenserdavantage > Condenser davantage - Ligature - Paramètrepar défaut > Paramètre par défaut - Toututiliser > Tout utiliser - Ligne de base - Paramètrepar défaut > Paramètre par défaut - Alignement - Alignerau centre > Aligner au centre - Alignerà droite > Aligner à droite - Justificationgauche > Justification gauche - Interlignagede paragraphe > Interlignage de paragraphe - Insérerun texte d'exemple > Insérer un texte d'exemple - Insérer - Tirets et traits d'union - Tiretconditionnel > Tiret conditionnel "Affichage" - Zoom - 100% > 100 % - 200% > 200 % - 400% > 400 % - 800% > 800 % More generally, on the entire software, a space is missing before the ":" and before "%" (In France, we place two spaces around double signs (:;!?).) "Imprimer" - Check box "Inverser", the text doesn't appear in full - Disposition - Taille de papier: Défini par pilote > Défini par le pilote "Préférences" - "Raccourcis clavier" : missing space like in "Texte" sub-menu. "Gestionnaire de section" in "Document" sub-menu - "Commencer à la page" is truncated Interesting work that allowed me to quickly browse the features of the program.
  6. Thanks. Build 1.7.0.371 installed, the spaces still missing in text sub-menu. I will try to report them all in a next post
  7. Hello, First, a big thanks for this application, great job ! Just tried the new beta (1.7.0.337, french version) and I found some missing spaces in right-clic menu of a text box and "Texte" sub-menu (see joined picture). Example : "Aligneraucentre -> Aligner au centre" ; "Justificationgauche -> Justification gauche" ; "Interlignagede paragraphe -> Interlignage de paragraphe"... I don't know if this bug had already been reported. Hope I can help. Cedric
