I am finding after the first week with Affinity Photo that it really does not like a folder-based workflow with sources and Affinity files in the same folder. Every time I do a "Save As" or an "Export..." operation, it assumes I want to save the new file in the same folder I saved the last one, not where I imported or opened my source materials today. My workflow keeps all files shot by date together, or all files related to a certain client together. If I am not very careful, I end up saving new work into a completely unrelated old project area from a different date or client. Please support a preference to work with sources and projects and results in the same folder by default, not folders used in past editing sessions.

I have the same complaint about the "merge" dialogs such as New Focus Merge. They start with a big happy box in which you could easily drop files. But if I have to click Add, I have to navigate back to a folder I already see in the other window, and have to find and select the exact same images I was thinking about before.
