Rosalie
Hello, I'm Rosalie and new! I'am looking for a alternative of Illustrator and Photoshop, cause I only have to check sometimes separations from the artdepartment from our screenprinting partner! Now since Pantone is attached and some things for printers, I load again today the trials to see if it is workable for me! Some ai. files I could open with Designer but I get still failures trying to open .psd separations! I'am still interesting to buy the two apps (especially with the discount at the moment) but it have to be useful for me with the separation files!? the message in German is "Fehler beim Parsen der Datei" Please help. Paul Bravery
Hi Rosalie, I think that in the case of Photoshop Pantone files, it's because Affinity Photo doesn't support spot channels or Photoshop's Duotone (Monotone, Tritone etc.). Maybe one of the devs can confirm? Paul.
