Hi I am trying to build a smart cover letter template for myself that looks genuine.

1-I am looking for semi-automation possibilities, as in, changing the company name and address from a global control point in a document and it changes multiple copies of the same.
2-And I always apply to similar positions, so I can pretty much structure it.  Is it possible to create bookmarks where I insert phrases from, a prepared collection.
For example in the text it looks like: `bookmark:strong skills`, and I click on it and just select the appropriate strong skill for the position from my list. it would be awesome.

actually I just realized I can kinda do the number 2 function with number 1.

So my question is , is this possible in Publisher ?

Thank you.

The Affinity Suite is kind of weak on user-defined field substitutions.  If you have a limited number of these, you can use the pre-defined fields in the document properties, inserting the corresponding fields multiple places in the body of the document, and then typing in whatever you like (regardless of what the pre-defined name of the field is).  You'd have to manage your "prepared collection" externally, copying from the external list and pasting into the field definition.
