Greetings, I am trying to make my workflow more efficient and I am wondering if it is possible or not. I am trying to apply a white gradient to a photo. My workflow is as follows:

1. Use gradient tool & draw gradient

2. I have to modify the opacity of the right-hand dot in order to show the image behind

Is there any way to eliminate this second step? when applying this effect multiple times to many photos, the time really adds up and it seems like I should be able to set it to 0% opacity by default. Thanks all!
