I have been using V-1 AP for about seven years now and love it. I use the liquify tool extensively and was looking forward to the latest version 2 of AP. But I find a lot of the functionality of V2 is slower.. like loading and saving files..The biggest slow down is the use of the liquify tool or more precisely applying/saving the modified file..... this process is so, so slow. I have done everything to attempt to correct the situation - this side of installing more physical RAM. reducing the DPI down from 300 to 200 of the file I am working on. Making sure there are no other files open in AP along side the one I am working on. Closing all other apps that might be open on the iMac. Using the liquify tool with and without hardware acceleration enabled. Using the liquify tool with the integrated GPU enabled and not enabled. Resetting my IMAC's VHRAM Dumping the trash. Increasing the RAM usage limit to the maximum settings with AP But nothing has helped the very slow performance of the V2 AP liquify tool. Regrettably, I might have to go back to V1 and lose all the layers in the V2 File Serif please fix your liquify tool. Any suggestions would be helpful . Thank you GCJ
