  1. Hi everyone, I recently tried to apply some noise inside the gradient map filter with Affinity photo (and designer as well). I wanted to create a duotone image with some noise only on one of the two colours. But unfortunately the noise ist not visible. Steps to reproduce: Open a sample photo Apply gradient map from inside the layer adjustments Click on one of the two colours and shift the noise control to the right The expected behaviour is a noise effect on the blue parts of the image. Instead moving the noise control does not seem to have any effect on the image. However the gradient map control panel shows a noise within the blue part of the gradient (see screenshot). As a workaround I had to use the colour or tonal selection and apply a noise filter above. But that doesn't give me the exact effect that I want. Would be great to have that working. I'm using Affinity 2 (both photo and designer) on Windows 11. I also tried it with Affinity 1 on MacOS, but it's not working either. Thanks for your help!
  2. I have not really been exploring these features until recently..but I noticed there is a discrepancy between the application of noise to colour swatches in different filter features.. It is present in both live and beta... A: Layer effects /colour overlay/select colour swatch/change colour/add noise=applied to selected layer/object B:Layer Effects/Gradient map + colour swatch on selected nodes+noise=add noise visibly to ramp but not object C:Layer Effects lens filter+ no luminosity select swatch add noise no effect at all Is this as it should be (by design) or just a small bug?
