  1. I am trying to move the center portions of the figure shown (the left edge of the rectangle along with the right endpoint of the line) while keeping the outer points fixed. No problem in AI: marquee select the center of the figure then move all selected nodes simultaneously. I couldn't manage to achieve this in Affinity, even if the nodes are selected as indicated in the attachment. Any idea what's wrong?
  2. Apologies if this has already been reported but as reported here by @bordercross in the desktop questions forum, in the latest 1.7.0.11 beta, the long standing bug of not being able to marquee select the nodes of a horizontal or vertical line with the Node tool is still present. This bug exists in all Mac versions of both Designer & Photo, retail & beta.
  3. I apologize if this has already been reported but searching this forum on "marquee select nodes" did not find anything relevant about it. Anyway, in both Affinity Designer & Affinity Photo, if a curve is a straight horizontal line that has multiple co-linear nodes (as below), dragging a marquee with the Node tool does not work -- no nodes are selected. If the line is not perfectly horizontal or has one or more nodes offset vertically even slightly from the others, it works as expected. horizontal line.afdesign
  4. Hi, Can't select certain nodes using marque selection ( see attached video), but you can select them by shift clicking them directly. Regards, Matej marque node selection issue.wmv
  5. I thought I had seen this issue before but I can't seem to locate it searching bugs. When any line is exactly horizontal or vertical the marquee can not select a node. If the line is angled using the transform panel by 0.0001 degrees then the marquee can select the nodes. If the virgin line is rotated in any way using the move tool, then rotated back to be at 0 degrees then the nodes can be selected via the marquee. After that I have not been able to get the line so that the marquee can not select the nodes. If the virgin line is rotated using the node tool, then rotated back to be exactly horizontal or vertical then the nodes can not be selected via the marquee.
